Nickel Creek

We arrived plenty early; parking near downtown and riding a complimentary bus to IBG. I bought my shirt and we were just going to look for a place to sit. However, before we could be seated, they announced that we all had to leave the field due to a severe lightening warning. I was determined not to freak out that the concert might be canceled for a storm. Luckily, the storm passed (no lightening, of course) and the concert started only 10 minutes late. So I got to see Nickel Creek, my favorite band ever, perform! And they did a cover of Brittany Spears' 'Toxic'. Best concert EVER!!!

ASC Flood...Take 3

As a final "hurrah!" Jordyn and I got to clean up a smallish flood in the ASC. It was only our third in the short time I was there. Luckily, MHM was our MD on duty each time...

Hardworkin' Saturday

My independent streak made me decide not to get help taking things to the dump. So I spent a lot of time breaking apart the pieces of fence and shoving them into Pear. Yay for independence?!?
Hero took a nap deep enough for both of us!

A Night Downtown

Colette treated me to dinner at Bittercreek Alehouse (love the spicy lamb burger and draft rootbeer!). We then wandered around, passing through Freak Alley (see below). She then took me to see Paula Poundstone perform at The Egyptian! Such a great evening with a great friend.
