Thistle UT

I needed an adventure today. So we drove towards Price to visit the "ghost town" of Thistle. Thistle was flooded in the 1980s after a massive landslide blocked the nearby river. 

This was how impressed E was by the size of Thistle.

We made our trip longer by driving up Provo Canyon and back through Park City to home. We were rewarded with this view --

Oregon in October

Left Ontario after a crappy stay in a crappy hotel. It was cold in the morning. Had some fun along the drive at truck stops.

Drove straight to Oceanside to see the beach and Pacific Ocean.

The next morning we went to breakfast at Rising Star Cafe after wandering through Wheeler Antique Mall. Eva didn't enjoy her sour hollandaise sauce nearly as much as she looks like she did.

Visited the Octopus Tree & Cape Meares

Aunt D & Uncle J came for a visit and we went walking at Hug Point. It was rainy and cold, but we had our rain gear ready!

Eva and I ran down to get some ice cream at Tillamook Creamery. We liked the new facelift!

Then I had amazing hair going to bed...

February 1st - Lady plays fetch!

February 5th - Meet Momma! Our newest family member. We named her Momma because she is 11 months old and has had 1 litter of kittens. She was unable to produce milk, but we were told she was a good momma to those babies.

February 14th - Valentine's Day! Eva & I had dinner at Siragusa's in Murray (very delicious Italian food). Then to Ballet West's performance of Cinderella.
