Such a Person

(Verse 1)
I reach for you. Into the darkness, I reach for you.
I search for you. Throughout every day, I search for you.
Are you reaching for me? Are you searching for me?
Or are you waiting for me to find you?

(Verse 2)
I dream of you. Night and day, I dream of you.
I imagine you. Body and face, I imagine you.
Are you dreaming of me? Do you imagine my body too?
Or are you waiting for me to dream and imagine you here?

(Chorus)
Is there such a person for me?
With gentle hands to hold my tears.
With bold heart to calm my fears.
Is there such a person for me?
With strong back to carry my load.
With kind eyes to fill up the cold.
Is such a person for me out there?

(Verse 3)
I’m craving you. Body and soul, oh, I’m craving you.
I ache for you. Inside and outside, I ache for you.
Are you crav-ing me? Are you aching for me?
Or are you, just waiting for me to fall to the craving and aching for you?

(Chorus)
Is there such a person for me?
With gentle hands to hold my tears.
With bold heart to calm my fears.
Is there such a person for me?
With strong back to help carry my load.
With kind eyes to fill up the cold.
Is such a person for me out there?
